I went to the tar lake during the dry season, and it still was a beautiful sight. It's something rare that most people may not ever experience. I enjoyed it.

Very interesting feature that we have in Trinidad. It a secluded gem where you have first hand contact with the pitch used for paving roads. Very informative if you have a tour guide.

Went here first 20 years ago when it was a secluded tourist trap. Now it boasts a visitor center with licensed knowledgable guides for 5 USD a head. Tour lasts 45 minutes.
