Our glass bottomed boat captains were extremely patient with my minimal-swimming experience. They gave me a life jacket as well as a life ring to balance myself and feel connected to the boat. This eased my fears and feelings of drowning. I watched beautiful fish and...More

We went to Pigeon Point on a quiet day (Mondays are the only quiet days) and managed to get a deal on hiring a whole glass bottomed boat to ourselves. A fantastic journey out to the reef seeing the wonderful coral and the myriad of...More

The glass bottom tour of the Buccoo Reef still stands out and impresses after all these years. There has been some destruction of the coral reef as is expected with so much human traffic but it remains a site to see.

This is a nice beach, walk by the boat yard and onto the beach. There's soft sand backed by palms. Shallow water and gentle slope. No facilities but town of Buccoo is nearby with eating places and shops. You'll need your own towels as there's...More

Great place to visit! Beautiful reef formation, clean water and nice explanation of guiders. The dive stop is a nice opportunity to feel the nature.

Secluded, pristine beach. We were the only ones on it. Fine, hard packed sand, and carribean water so calm you can float forever. Best beach ever! Bring your own towels.

Hi, I'm planning to visit Buccoo Reef and the Nylon Pool on a cruise stop. Any tips? I thought I'd take a taxi to Pigeon Point and find a tour there, but there is also a cruise excursion option for $65 (round trip from cruise port, glass bottom boat tour of reef and pool). I wonder what time tour operators start and if they will all be booked with the ship in port. Hoping to beat the crowd but that may not be an option if the tours don't start at 8am. Thanks

Hey Frida_Cu! There are tour operators right outside of the park and there are tours that leave from Store Bay. All the tours that I saw seem to have two times. One usually around 9 or 10 am and a second tour around 2pm. The... More
