Fantastic Trip to the forest reserve with Newton George as a guide. You could walk here on your own but I know if I had I would never have seen the wildlife that I did on the tour. I would say that if you are visiting Tobago and have even the slightest interest in wildlife, particularly birds, this is a... More

We hired Fitzroy Quamina, he was very nice and he knows the forest very well. He knows birds but he's not a bird expert, I would recommend him if bird watching was your first interest. We did a 3 hour walk in the tropical forest, it's truly spectacular, we enjoyed every minute of the tour

Had a wonderful couple of hours following the Gilpin Trace with Darlington as our guide - well worth it and an encyclopedia of wildlife knowledge. It's with mixed feelings that we missed seeing the boa constrictor that likes his belly being tickled.

If you are interested in birdwatching, this is a must. Peter Cox will take you off the beaten track to places where he knows rare birds may be found and he mimics bird calls to attract them. Birds like the Blue-backed Manakin, Sabre-winged Hummingbird and Trogan can be found in the rainforest and Peter is an expert guide.

Oh my! As a tour guide I can tell anyone, the moment of truth is in rainforest. Before becoming a tour guide I knew I had to return.Surrounded by peace, and great music from the birds and the sweet melody of the insects as the wind romantically find its way through the leaves of the trees. I tell you. I... More

Our trip to the rain forest was incredible. Our guide-Jackson from the Alibaba Tours (Castara) was very knowledgeable, helpful and a great person. Don't miss this unique attraction.

We went on a two hours tour with Fitzroy. It is a great experience that I certainly recommend. A different side of the island from the beach. Enjoyable also if raining.

We went to the reserve to check it out and luckily found Fitzroy Quamina. We went on a 3 hour hike. Fitzroy pointed out a lot of the unique animals and plants in the forest and good hidden spots. After the hike we ate at the Rainforest Cafe, a small household cafe run by Fitzroy's sister. It was a lovely hike... More
