This is a good place for beach glass. I do recommend shoes, not sandal as it's a very dirty beach, not suitable for swimming. Ask the taxi driver or tour guide to accompany you as you walk down the beach. extra pair of eyes is good thing.

The beaches around Scarborough are small and dirty. Rockly Bay is one of them, the same apply for Little Rockly and Hillborough Bay beach. Dont go to them unless you liev right by them. Keep driving East for better beaches. These are not even safe to use.

This is not a beautiful beach by any means and it is not maintained. There is trash everywhere and it is not pleasant to walk on. The sea in this area is very choppy and swimming is not advised. This beach is, however, excellent for sea glass. In less than an hour, I filled up a plastic shopping bag with green, clear, brown, aqua, and even black sea glass. Most of it was well-tumbled and frosted, too. I would love to go back some time! If you enjoy photography, this is an excellent area to take pictures of the ferries and the Scarborough skyline.

It's sandy and close to all the amenities at Scarborough. There's a grassy area with toilets and food outlets nearby and others on Milford Road. No swimming is advised.
