Jason is not only extremely knowledgeable about the birds on Tobago, but also about the other creatures we encountered and the plantlife. His ability to spot and identify birds in dense vegetation is remarkable. And to top it all, he is excellent company.

Jason Radix came highly recommended by a close friend and he did not disappoint.

I had an amazing experience with Jason for our trip into the Tobago Rainforest on August 1st 2022 and learned so much more about my country within the space of ~5hrs. On our trip, we saw jacamars, sabrewings, white-throated spadebill, blue-black manakin and Mot Mots

As a world traveler and novic wildlife photographer, Jason ranks top 5 of guides that I have ever used. I look forward to using his services again in the near future.

Thank you Jason.

Hi Alvin & Monique, it was my pleasure hosting you both. Even though I had some vehicle malfunction, I got it sorted, and it turn out to be a very productive and enjoyable day. I'm so happy that we were able to complete the entire tour and benefited from exploring this beautiful island together. Excited to meet you again during your next visit. Thank you!

We contacted Jason from our hotel to say that we would like a tour of Tobago taking in the natural history and scenery of the island. He replied promptly with a personalized itinerary which exactly suited what we wanted. Jason collected us from our hotel on time. The wonderful tour took in lookouts, historical background, explanation of birds and trees, visits to deserted beaches, a drive through the rain forest reserve and an unforgettable stop at the hummingbird feeding station where we were able to experience hummingbirds zooming and hovering around us. Jason is highly qualified on all counts, expert natural historian and very alert to the requirements of tourists as well as having an excellent telescope. He is also very friendly and welcoming and we learned a lot about the history of Tobago as well as its wildlife. We can't wait to go with him again.

Hello Philip & Barbara, I am so very grateful that you took the time to offer this very favourable review, while still on holiday. It means a lot that you shared this when there's still so much to see & do during your short stay on Tobago. I'm happy that I was a positive part of the experience of sowing off this beautiful island. I truly enjoyed spending my time with you even thought it rained so much. I'm looking forward to sharing more of the island with you when you return (hopefully on a sunny day :-). Thank you!

I was with a group of 10 birders who were all new to Trinidad and Tobago. We had 3 days on Tobago with Jason. He was a great guide. He knew all the birds we were able to see or hear, as well as where to find them, and he was knowledgeable about the history of T&T, particularly Tobago, its culture and separate history. He also knew the plants we asked about, as ell as the various notable arthropods and reptiles that we encountered. In other words, he's a complete naturalist, not to mention being a very personable and considerate guide. Our group had 4 other excellent guides when we were in Trinidad, and Jason was as good as any of these. If you're interested in visiting Tobago, particularly if you enjoy nature, Jason would be an excellent person to have with you.

I was a member of the Tucson Audubon Society who used Jason as our guide over the course of three days. He also provided airport transportation and a bus for the tour group of 11. He was more than willing to answer any questions about life in Trinidad and Tobago and everything about nature. He was very knowlegable and worked to get us all good looks at the birds and other wildlife. You won't be disappointed!

Hi Kaye, thank you very much for taking the time to offer this favourable review, I appreciate it. I'm so glad that you recognised my efforts to ensuing that everyone had a good experience; it's not easy to manage a large group of birders especially within the forest. Yet, your entire group made my job an enjoyable one. Thank you for visiting and I hope to host you again sometime in the future.

Jason organised this fascinating tour of parts of the newly designated UNICEF biosphere reserve in Tobago. His knowledge of the culture, history and rainforest was exceptional. A very personable and accommodating guide. The walk along the Gilpin Trail is a must for those who want to explore the rainforest. Very accessible even for the over 60s! Highly recommended. Remember cap, long pants and sturdy walking shoes.

Hello Sybil, I'm so thankful for your kind and positive review. I enjoyed my time working with both you and your husband Keith. It was also good that you remembered me from so many years ago when I was a much younger guide in Trinidad. I am so happy that we got the opportunity to reconnect. Hope to host you again, and good recommendation on the proper footwear & clothing ;-) Thank you!

Very professional all the way, sending emails to confirm time and place and where you will be going on the day. Punctual at all times. Nothing is too much trouble .

Jason is so interesting and very passionate about Tobago and the wild life it has to offer.
I would highly recommend Jason for a wonderful and interesting tour .

Hi Wendy, thank you for your prompt and favourable review. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you the past two days. It reminds me how fortunate I am to do what I do; if fact it often doesn't feel like work whenever I have clients as engaged and pleasant as you. Thank you for the opportunity, hope to host you again sometime in the future.

My husband and I took the tour of the rainforest in April 2022. It was a wonderful experience. Jason was very knowledgeable about the birds in the rainforest and could recognize the birds by their sound. He was very professional. We are two seniors and he was attentive and was able to customize the tour package to our needs. I am glad that we booked with him.

Jason was a great nature/bird guide! He picked us up on time, providing comfortable transportation with plenty of room and bottles of water for the ride up to the rainforest. He provided insightful commentary during the drive on birds, nature, and T & T. A walkthrough of Gilpin Trace, in Main Ridge Forest Reserve, should not be missed when visiting Tobago. Jason took us on the journey pointing out the natural attributes along the way. He was spot on in assisting us to sight birds we would have never seen or been able to identify on our own. He knew them by call and area along the trace. We were even emailed a list of all the birds we had sighted along the way. It was a pleasant, enjoyable, and insightful jaunt. We highly recommend Jason!

Hello Peter, and thank you for your favourable review. I'm so happy that you enjoyed my commentary. The Rainforest is such a magical place, especially now having not been there in almost two years. The bird life is fantastic, making it a joy for me to share. Thank you for the opportunity!

Our family group (aged between 70yrs and 5 months) had a most enjoyable and informative guided tour on the Gilpin Trace in Main Ridge Forest Reserve with Jason , whilst on our holiday in Tobago last week. The oldest nature reserve in the world and its original rainforest, full or amazing flora and fauna, it is a unique 'must see' when visiting Tobago - as is Jason and his Eureka Natural History Tours!

Hell Richard, your favourable review is so much more appreciate as it's my first in a year, and you're among my very first clients in almost two years. It is so good to get back to work, meet wonderful people from around the world and especially to show-off my beautiful country. Thank you for the opportunity!
