We stopped in Gibbs key when we were out whale watching. There were 3 other boats there at the time, but we held and kissed and fed a giant sting Ray! There is a little path up a hill you can walk and get some great pics. They also have a ton of conch shells laying around so you can... More

If you have never been close to or even held a stingray, this is a pretty good place to "get your feet wet." The snorkeling at a nearby reef was good.

Hanging with the stingrays - gotta do it if you have not done so yet! Well established tour outfit that has multiple boats taking cruise passengers from the pier to the reef to snorkel and beach to wade in with the stingrays. Water is amazingly clear for both and stingray beach gets you off the boat and on land to... More

We did enjoy our time with the Rays in Gibbs Cay HOWEVER, the tour was late to start and this really rushed our time on the excursion. We didn't need to see the Conch killed and eaten, it was a waste of time and not necessary to see. We would have enjoyed more time snorkeling and enjoying the beach.

We booked an excursion through the ship for snorkel and stingrays. The wind was up so the snorkeling was not the best because of the chop and sediment. But out of the wind Gibbs Cay was perfect. The boats put ashore on the uninhabited island where people could sit on the beach, hike to the top of the Cay or... More

This was an experience I'm glad I chose to experience. We were able to touch, kiss, and feel the silky skin of the Sting Rays. The guides were careful to ensure the sting rays were comfortable and not agitated. Our guide also fished out conche fish along the trip and we enjoyed Conche sushi.

We were on the Carnival Glory last week. Our excursion in Grand Turk included petting the stingrays at Gibbs Cay. Really neat experience. The water at Grand Turk is truly the most beautiful I have ever seen.

If you're staying on Grand Turk set aside a day to spend on Gibbs Cay! Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island off the coast of Grand Turk and is surrounded by stingrays and otherwise great snorkeling! One side of the Cay is lovely white sand beaches and the other side (a short short walk) is crashing waves and rocks. Both... More

We were taken to Gibbs Cay by Exclusive Escapes Tours after snorkeling. Here the sting rays are accustomed to humans feeding them conch innards and come right up to the beach for snacks. They will allow humans to touch them and even be held by the tour guides for closer inspection. It was an amazing part of our trip.
