We enjoyed the Bight Reef, and you could snorkel right off the beach. We stayed at Grace Bay and had a rental car, and drove there.

I went to this spot 3 days during my 7 day stay and each day was still unique! I saw plenty of turtles, lobster, a stingray, and a whole range of beautiful fish of different sizes! Don't swim inside the marker buoys and wear reef...More

Our ninth time on the island, but only the first time that we actually snorkeled the Bight Reef. Seemed a bit underwhelming from the beach, but actually quite impressive in terms of sea life and very accessible, especially for beginners. Worth coming!

My 7 year old had an excellent time swimming around the reef area. She saw all types of fish and the area was not overcrowded. Definitely would recommend to any families.

Although reef is roped off for protection, rightfully, there is plenty to see around with many fish, and turtles. We went in afternoon, around 2 and did 3 loops around and each time was a bit different. Great place for 1st time snorkeling or little...More

Upon recommendation by my hotel staff at the Sommerset, I looked into bight reef. I read a review on TripAdvisor and took the advice to drive my rental car to the road that leads to the Coral Gardens. We actually took the trip twice since...More

We walked from the Sands (on the beach) and it was approximately 25 minutes walk but worth every minute. Bring what you need with you to avoid rentals. We left our stuff on sand and went directly into the water. There is a section that...More

The Bight Reef, located in the Bight settlement, was free and we (family of 4 with kids 14 and 12) saw more fish there than we saw on the $100 per person boat trip we took. We stayed at The Somerset on Grace Bay. Instead...More

Bight Reef was extremely active during this year's vacation. We have been vacationing in Provo for 4 years now, and this is the first year I've seen (and captured on video) so many turtles. I think my son and I observed 5 different turtles altogether....More

Free. You just have to bring your own gear. Most hotels on the beach supply it to you. There is a rental right in front but I don't know the costs.

Coral Gardens and Windsong are right across from the reef. We have stayed at both resorts and had amazing experiences at both! Coral Gardens is nice enough, and very convenient, but is unfortunately right next to an... More

We had our own equipment but there are a few rental places on the island. We snorkelled late morning and had the beach to ourselves. Grab a map at the airport.
