If you need to kill an hour come here but too many people snorkeling and not much to see. You are not allowed to snorkel in the protected area but the area does allow easy access into the water.

We stayed at the Windsong Resort (right next to Coral Gardens) and this reef is just to the left of the resort as you're facing the ocean. The reef itself is roped off to protect it, but you can snorkel around it and still see...More

I am a novice snorkeled and this reef is perfect! The reef is really close to the beach and no boat is needed. We saw lots of colorful small fish, a stingray, flounder, and needlefish. There were also sharks. The first day we snorkeled, I...More

It's not large but there are plenty of coral and fish to see - we also saw a large Eagle Ray during our trip out! I would've liked to spend some more time in the grassy areas to see if I could spot a turtle...More

We always walk down grace bay beach or ride our bikes from our hotel to coral gardens where you can just walk in off the beach and snorkel bight reef at your leisure. The fish are beautiful, plentiful and varied. I’ve also seen eels. The...More

Stayed at Windsong and had a great beach with snorkeling right off shore. Make sure you try Snuba, worth every penny. Jodi is a wonderful guide that no matter how nervous you are she makes you confident and at ease under the sea

Just swim out from the shore and an underwater world of wonder awaits! We say eagle rays, turtles, barracuda, and lots of colorful fish. Stay outside the buoys!

Free. You just have to bring your own gear. Most hotels on the beach supply it to you. There is a rental right in front but I don't know the costs.

8-9am was the best time for us. We tried multiple times throughout the day but found the most activity at this time because it's before loads of people head out there.
