This has to be the best place to learn to Kite board because of the conditions. The winds are consistently on shore and during low tide you can walk out for miles, Even just sitting on the beach on a windy day to watch everyone...More

Our visit was worth the trip. A hidden gem on the island. The beach is small however clean. Water is beautiful. Windy to keep the heat down. Kite surfers were cool. Very picturesque.

Didn't spend as much time out here as I would've like but what an awesome place to see! Kite surfling, parasailing, jetskis and a mile of clear water that never comes up past your waist. If you're into water sports, this is the perfect spot...More

We rode horses from Provo Ponies at Long Bay Beach. We took our horses in the ocean while people were kite surfing off in the distance. Gorgeous water, but mucmore windy than Grace Bay.

Long Bay Beach is a spectacular beach. Accessing it can be a little confusing and you definitely need to drive there. There are a few different spots to access the beach, but they can be tricky to find. If you want to visit the beach...More

South side of the island. Far less crowded then the popular Grace Bay and just as beautiful. Plus it has the added bonus of a beautiful breeze

We loved this beach. It's a little bit of a drive but so worth it. The sand is like powder and the water is beautiful. The wind here is great, cooler, less crowded, great to watch kite surfing and still enjoy the beach too. The...More

Long Bay has the nicest water you will ever see. The depth is waist high, and that depth extends at least mile out into the bay. There bottom is sandy and the water looks like pool water, it's that clear. A little out of the...More

Beautiful beach. Clear turquoise water and soft white sand. I visited this beach via horseback with Provo Ponies and it is stunning! I only wish I had spent more time hear after the horse ride. The water is very shallow, enough that we rode the...More

We were there in early March and it was only surfers in the water. It is a huge beach, so you will find a space for swimming. The other side is much prettier though

I agree! Turtle Cove was the best place. People were very respectful of them and just admired them, which is the way it should be. "Take only photographs, leave only footprints." I read this quote a long time ago, and it... More

You haven't let me know where you are coming from, but since most people stay in the Grace Bay area, I will give you directions from there! Take Leeward Highway eastbound, and turn right on Long Bay Highway. After a few... More
