We have gone to Long Bay twice and it is a great beach. It is on the windward side so the sand is a little courser than Grace Bay and more seaweed. Also, a lot broken conch shells. The north end has some parking and...More

I spent majority of my days in the serenity of Long Bay Beach. It's way more quite and often times you'll have the whole beach to yourself. The sand fleas are atrocious and there are no chairs or umbrellas....so prepare yourself accordingly.

Although nice and private and secluded I felt that the water is here which are crystal-clear were very shallow. Kayaking out more than a mile and still eight being shallow. This is good for families with small children but not for people who want to...More

Nice Beach and View and more quiet compared to Grace Bay Beach it is more like a residential area. Had a nice walk there.

Go conch snorkeling/diving! It’s a must see. Not ideal for small kiddos because of wind/waves, but definitely to see and enjoy. Secluded in many parts, especially at the entrance of Curlew Drive (residential area). Lots of conch shells and rocks in the surf, so water...More

This was a great find one afternoon! I believe there was only 3 other people on the beach, great for children! You can walk out for about a mile in the ocean and the water never gets over waist deep! Truly amazing and a little...More

Compared to many places around the world, Long Bay Beach is beautiful. Compared to the beaches in Turks, it's just nice. The beach is a little difficult to find, and windy compared to other spots on the island. One reason to visit, it's a tremendous...More

Took us a while to get to the beach as basically the entire shore is taken over by the residential properties... once you finally make it to the small pathway that leads to the beach you are basically walking so close to the residential buildings...More

This beach was ok but it would of been amazing if you were a wind surfer. It was very windy when we went so it was hard to enjoy your beach stay.

This is the best beach in my opinion, watching the wind surfers and the seclusion/quiet of the beach was truly a dream come true!

We were there in early March and it was only surfers in the water. It is a huge beach, so you will find a space for swimming. The other side is much prettier though

I agree! Turtle Cove was the best place. People were very respectful of them and just admired them, which is the way it should be. "Take only photographs, leave only footprints." I read this quote a long time ago, and it... More
