For a weekly event for who knows how many years, amazes me how there just hasn't been any improvements to make this a better experience. Simply just adding a area of 20 picnic tables would make this experience 50x better, some additional trash barrels and...More

I was very much looking forward to seeing this and being a part of an island tradition where tourists and belongers alike mixed and partied. That's my idea of a vacation. Sadly it was so crowded it was hard to get any food and listening...More

We walked to the fish fry, and we got there right around 5.30pm, which at that point there already was nowhere to sit! We walked around trying to check out different menus. We ended up getting coconut shrimp at one of the stands, which was...More

Very busy! Be prepared for long lines and loud music! If you want to sit, you better bring your own chair or towel - because seating is very limited! We went to Mooties. Good service and food was good. We got the jerk chicken with...More

We walked down the beach, grazed the food stands of local restaurants and enjoyed the music of the local band--great raggae--and lots of fun. It's a great place to connect other tourists you've met on boat trips or on the beach.

I was somewhat disappointed in the fish fry. As hyped up as it was by literally every local I met, I was expecting more than what I got. In my honest opinion, the Fish Fry is more like an open market with food and drink...More

Lots of vendors of both food and souvenirs. The musicians come from all over and other cays in the area. A good time for all ages and lots of dancing.

The Fish Fry is Thursday evenings at the Bight Park. You park outside the park because the parking lot is used for the event. I would recommend getting there around 5:30-6.

Hi there. No it is not cash only. A lot of vendors had signs up that took cards as well. Some vendors are cash only, but not all. Hope that helps!
