Finding this little gem is a trick. You have to go through The Buccanears Resort Entrance to get here. It is about a 1/2 mile of a horseshoe cove beach. Pretty secluded. Protected by the reef and is great for swimming and snorkeling.

We were staying in a villa 5 min ride from this beach and this was our favorite beach near; the beach is very nice, soft white sand, and not crowded at all; we were there several days and there were not more that 20 people...More

Very nice beach. Due to the hurricane we found tons of whole shells and coral pieces. The beach also seemed to be worn away a bit so the surf was very rough. Great little spot though.

My wife and I happened upon Shoy Beach while looking a home in the gate guarded community adjacent to the Buccaneer Hotel. Very private beach, although not real deep as far as the width of the sand. Very beautiful setting. Private.

We were pleasantly surprised by the great snorkeling off of this sweet & beautiful beach. Plenty of shade along the beach and a lovely walk in! Highly recommend visiting this beach when on St. Croix.

This is a nice quiet beach, accessed through the Buccaneer Resort property. Snorkeling isn't very impressive, although our daughter did see a shark.

I'm so glad we went to the trouble of finding this little gem. It was a lot easier than some of the online directions made it out to be. Simply enter at the Buccaneer, veer to the right, stop at the guard shack and tell...More

Went there on Memorial Day weekend and relatively quiet, maybe 15 other people there. Shores are clean and water is beautiful. Entrance to the beach area is the best part with the overhanging trees that make a tunnel of sorts to get to the beach....More

You need to go through a checkpoint and give them your name. Then you duck under some serious tree roots? It is cave like to get to the beach. Easy walk. The entire cay is private and spectacular. If you walk to the far end,...More
