You need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to get here, but it's well worth the trip to this scenic and secluded beach, perfect for swimming, and a barrier reef for snorkeling.

Anyone help us (in detail) to find Isaac bay? We are on island and have been told numerous times by other tourists to go to Isaac's for snorkelling. We know it's a hike from point udell but which trail

I am taking this from John Boyd's recent book "Too Much to do in One Vacation." There truly is. We parked at Cramer park and then walked east one the road a bit to a dirt road. Hike up this dirt road. The radio tower...More

2 mile round trip hike. Totally worth it. Beach is beyond gorgeous. You will often find the entire beach to your self. No amenities. Seasonal turtle nesting.

On the East End of the island park in a small parking area and take a 20 minute hike around the hills to two beautiful and secluded bays. Take water and have good walking/hiking shows.

Walked in from wayside parking lot and it was about 1.5-2 miles. I would suggest going early in the morning as there is only one spot of shade on the beach, a makeshift hut made from washed up logs and it is first come-first serve....More

We parked at the pull-off right before you get to Pt. Udall. The trail is narrow and easy to follow. It took us approx. 20 minutes down and 30 back up?? In my opinion it's not a strenuous hike, but take your time coming back...More

This was a 20 minute hike through a narrow path. Definitely needed real shoes. Had hoped it would be secluded but there were lots of other people there the day that we went... Bummer! Amazing snorkeling only 15 feet off the beach!

Isaac Bay is the SECOND beach, when you hike down from the Point Udall parking area on the East End. They don't maintain the walking path very well, but it's not a bad hike (20 minutes or so). The beach is very pretty, nice sandy...More

Our place on the North Shore was very rocky, so we wanted to visit other beaches. A solid 50 minute drive, and as always on St. Croix, twisty roads. Ample parking near point Udall (can't miss it). It looked like the hike was going to...More

A cab. I wouldn't walk it only because I didn't see a sidewalk and the road is narrow and curvy. I'd ask the driver to pick you up in 3 hours at the place he leaves you
