eastern U.S.A.

Eastern most point of the United States, Great views on three sides of this beautiful island. A little windy though.

We got up early on to watch the sunrise at Point Udall, as recommended by tripadvisor reviewers and we were so glad that we did. It was a magical moment. Others in our group went later in the day and enjoyed the sights as well. Amazing views.

We rented a car and wanted to go to the end of the road. The point is fairly high and affords a great view of of the ocean. There are no bells and whistles but a great natural point. There is a monument there which was interesting.

Well worth the drive out just for the drive out. But once there, the windswept location provides a sense of isolation -- almost vulnerability. Take the north road in, south road out -- or vice versa.

Amazing sunrises. Be the first to see the sunrise on US soil. Views are amazing. Be careful leaving you car unattended as there is sometimes issues with theft.

Given that point Udall is the easternmost point in the U.S. I thought it would be nice to watch the sunrise and boy was it nice. The view over the ocean was magnificent with waves crashing below. There are also hiking paths nearby to the nearby beaches and turtle nesting grounds. The best hike for me was located near the... More
