Bring a flashlight, all areas are accessible. Nice Christiansted harbor view from up top, Some sad memories of the days of slave trade. Must do, short walk from the harbor.

The fort is run by the National Park Service. It is well worth the visit. It is full of interesting information concerning the history of the island. It is well maintained.

Self guided tour. Lots of display signs that explain things and a tour booklet that you can bring with you. Hang out for as long as you want or run through, take a picture and leave. Interesting to imagine people actually living and working there....More

This was a cheap way to get the history of the island. Very clean and plenty of information throughout the fort. Many different areas to see.

Called to arrange for tour with ranger. He shared so much information it was a lot to process. After the tour we were free to wander about. Would highly recommend

It was a good day to get out of the heat. My husband really enjoyed the history. its a fast, short event but worth seeing. we walked around at our own pace. Great photo spot

A cost is listed at the entrance, but at the time we were there no one was working! I don't remember how much.
