It really is a fantastic view. Be careful, though. For those of us from the States, we're used to looking a different way for traffic. When you park, you cross the street to get to the actual bench. Crossing back, make sure you look both ways (especially to the right where traffic comes from) before you cross because it's right... More

This is one of the best views in the Caribbean, but you won't get to see it unless you get your taxi driver to make the 1 minute detour off the usual route around the island. Be sure to request the stop if you're on your way to or from Megan's Bay or Coki Beach.

This is worth a 10-minute stop to see the islands around St. Thomas. It's an easy stop on the way to or from Magen's Bay, just a couple of minutes out of the way.

I never tire of this view. After a quarter of a century on this little rock I never miss a chance to gaze at Magen's Bay and the islands beyond. Panoramic and awesome photo opp on the island of St. Thomas. Stand there and count your blessings and your day will improve immediately.

There is a fun story of Sir Francis Drake sitting on his bench (the Seat) and watching ships. As they approached, he would signal his pirate ships to sail out of a hidden cove and plunder their booty.

On the way back to our condo neat Cowpet Bay for Hull Bay beach, happened across the viewpoint at Drakes Seat. What a wonderful view of Magens Bay beach and beyond. Definitely worth the stop if you are passing by.

Awesome view of Magens Bay. It's a better view and easier to get to than Mountain Top. Would highly recommend.

We found the overlook at Magens bay and could not take enough photos. Directly across we stumbled on a bench (Drake's Seat) the point where Sir Fancis Drake explored the island. If you love inspiration for painting or photos this is the spot to search out.

Quick stop for some pictures and fresh local coconut water. Local vendor selling coconuts for $4. Hacks off the top in front of you and even offers to add some of the good stuff.

One of St. Thomas best view points. Panoramic pictures from this sight are amazing. You can see how Magen's Bay is actually shaped and you have an amazing view of other U.S. and B.V.I.
