These "gades" hold hidden gems (literally) that you just can't find at Havensight. Great shopping deals are to be had here!

We always get great alcohol prices in town. But the best place to visit is Eden Jewelers! They make you feel like you are the the most important people on earth. Friendly, professional, and give great prices on exceptional jewelry!! Make them a must!

We had a ball sopping when we got into port. I wish we had 2 days to gt to all the shops. We bought so really nice things here and the shop owners were fun to talk to . See you next year folks!

It was our first time to St. Thomas. We didn't realize that jewelry shopping was so popular. If you want a good deal on diamonds, go to Main St.

Quaint shops in former pirate hangouts. Wonderful shopping for fragrances, lacquer, and especially jewelry. Best prices in western hemisphere, second only to Hong Kong. Lucky Jewelers is the premier shop on the street, followed by Artistic Jewelers.

We walked Main Street a few times, but basically we tried to avoid it in favor of Veterans' Drive and the alleys between the two streets. Every store (it seemed) had someone standing out front, buttonholing every passer by with a high pressure sales pitch....More

We strolled around downtown Charlotte Amalie on our last day on the island. We thought it was something we should do since it's the only major "town" on the island. We're so happy we did. Yes there are plenty of pushy vendors and shop owners,...More

Fun shopping experience! Both main stores and vendors had lots of interesting items and good deals. Beautiful architecture as well.

main street here is pretty but the amount of people trying to get you into their jewelry stores is so annoying, almost to the point where i'd never return. I've never seen as many jewelry stores in one spot and they come up to you...More

We had to drive down main street a lot. It is very narrow with no parking. If you take the tour at Blackbeards castle, you can park there and the tour ends very close to Main Street.

Which jewelry shop is located at 5093 Dronningen's Gade Suite 2, St. Thomas? I bought a piece of jewelry there and would like to give them a great review! Unfortunately I believe they just moved from another location in town so I am trying to find them.

I am not able to answer that question. I did visit several jewelry stores on the Island, but do not remember addresses. Just type in the name of the Jewelry store and you should be able to get that information.
Just want to know that we don't need any guide? Can just walk from the cruise ship to the down town area? Any attraction recommended to see?

Hi Amberbye, It depends on where your ship is docking. Most ships dock at Charlotte Amalie. There is a huge shopping area called Havensight Mall within the confines of the dock that houses numerous shops. Main street in... More
