Overview

The good news: this world-class stretch of white sand and turquoise water is St. John's most photographed beach, which features a marked underwater trail for beginning snorkelers. The bad news: because of its popularity, it can get very crowded with cruise ship passengers and members of sightseeing tours.

It was crazy to charge $5 to go to a public beach, but it was lovely. It was also a great place to snorkel and very easy to get there by taxi.

Yes, it is worth it, but Maho is better. Take a taxi to either and you don't have to worry about parking. Trunk has good snorkeling. Maho has sea turtles. Either is a must.
