This beach was small compared to others we visited. It's next to Trunk Bay, so one benefit might be that if you get parking here, you can walk to the other. The snorkeling was ok, but not has interesting as other island locations. Still -...More

There is more parking here than in years past, but it fills up quickly. Try to go early. You can swim to the right all the way to trunk Bay. About half way we saw huge schools of small silver-side fish (like clouds) being herded...More

Apparently the only beach on the island with a non english name but nevertheless we did not run into any ghosts, just turtles so it was a great experience

This wasn't my favorite beach in St. John, but I'm still giving it 5 stars, because---you're in freaking St. John! It was beautiful and I had a really lovely and easy snorkel. Lots of seagrass and beautiful silver fish, among other things.

It's a little had to spot from the road but worth the short hike in. A nice sandy beach with some shade too. Saw turtles here.

The path leading to it is precious. It's short, well maintained and full of bird noises. The beach is narrow and secluded, though you can hear the noise from the street which is right above it. The water is just fantastic. My friend fell asleep...More

To get to Jumbie Beach, there are a few parking spots on the south side of the road between Peace Hill and Trunk Bay. Follow a short trail that leads to this secluded little beach. Very peaceful and lots of shade. There is a sign...More

A great beach, a bit of a step for water access. Palm trees and sea grapes for shade. Parking lot is small, no toilet. A good beach for viewing fish on the left and right sides. Can be busy.

That's the one! There's actually a path, not a wooden staircase for Jumbie. To get to Jumbie it's past Hawksnest before trunk bay. The parking is on the right side of the road.
