This is a BEAUTIFUL beach. We hiked from the USVI Visitors Center about a mile. It was neat to see hermit crabs on the walking path to the beach. There is shop that will allow you to rent chairs, snorkeling equipment, rafts, paddle boards & kayaks for the day about $50 per adult, we worth it. While floating on a... More

This is a nice beach but the walk from the parking lot is long and you have to pay $20 to park. You can purchase something from the resort for $20 to avoid paying for parking. Most things in the gift shop are overpriced. We purchased two sandwiches for $24. There are many more beaches on St John to enjoy... More

It was going to be a rainy day wherever we went, so we planned on a day on St. John! We picked Honeymoon Beach for the amenities they offered. Bought our day passes online - it was a great deal. We saw 3 STINGRAYS and plenty of fish. A very relaxing day! My boys (16 & 12), kayaked & paddleboarded!... More

Honeymoon Beach is most definitely not to be missed! The one mile hike to get there, starting at the USVI Visitor's Center, is easy and should not deter you from spending the day at this awesome beach! We brought a cooler with us, but they also have a bar onsite.

Loved this beach. It had amenities. Was not a super long walk from parking. And, the snorkeling was great. The water had some movement which my kids enjoyed. Still not much by way of waves but a little more than we had seen elsewhere.

You must catch the ferry at Charlotte Amalie waterfront dock D to Water Island. There is a restaurant on the dock called Tickles. You can wait there to board the ferry. The ferry cost $10 per person (cash only) and took about 10 minutes. When we arrived Jeff gave us a free shuttle to Dinghy’s restaurant, which is on Honeymoon... More

We spent the day here in July and had a fantastic time. We arrived around 12:30 and our only regret was that we didn't get there sooner. Plenty of shade and sunshine - Food and bar - Beach toys and snorkel gear. While we were there, the native donkeys paid a visit and were the hit of the day. The... More

This location was recommended by a local and we were glad he did. We were going to do Maegans Bay, but glad we did not do that. We caught the water taxi near Tickles Bar. It cost $20 roundtrip for 2 people($10 each way). We past our cruise ship as we headed to the island. Caught a ride with the... More

This was a beautiful beach for families, very easy to get there once you park the car. They did not have shower facilities, unlike Trunk Bay.

We took the ferry from St. Thomas after arriving on the Disney Fantasy. The hike along the Lind Point Trail is not too difficult, but in our case it had just rained making it slick in a few spots. Took about 30 minutes to get to beach from the trailhead at the Virgin Island National Park. Once to the beach,... More
