With a statue of Queen Victoria situated in the center, this square is where most of Nassau's main government buildings can be found.

Located very near the cruise terminal and an easy walk. It is very colorful and worth a picture taking opportunity. A statue of Queen Victoria(1837-1901) along with several cannons are prominent. There were flags up celebrating independence.

We just viewed the square, something to do when going into town for sure. Love the rich history and the colors of all the buildings around the square,

A MUST SEE especially during National Holidays. It is beautifully decorated and hosts live performances. This is the place where the people gather to celebrate and protect their rights. It is also in the center of great shopping, gucci is right next door.

Parliament Square in Nassau is very striking. The pink buildings are regal against the blue skies. Easy place for all to get a nice picture. Near the shopping and ports. This can be a very quick stop on your way to other destinations.

We saw this as part of a walking tour booked through our cruise line (Bahama Brews.) Our tour guide Jamie was very informative, explaining what each building was and briefly how the judicial system works.

Parliament Square is serenely colorful. Our ship (along with 7 others) disembarked and flooded Nassau. But this was a serene setting at the end of the day.

Although there was grounds keeping at he time we were there it was still an interesting sight. It's off of a side street tucked away in the middle of downtown which is $1.25 bus ride from our resort.

Yes, all the areas you might want to explore are in easy range if you're up to the task. Although if you're a slow walker or have issues with hills/distance you might want to grab a cab.
