We have been wanting to see this ever since we saw it listed in the list of top things to see and do in Nassau, but we were surprised to see the no trespassing sign at both this site and the Versaille Gardens and being...More

In the midst of the surreal, Disneyesque Paradise Island, lies this French Gothic structure, apparently brought over stone by stone in the 1920s by American barons. In the middle of the somewhat harsh razzmatazz, the fading beauty of these graceful arches make a silhouette against...More

We happened across this beautiful place on our honeymoon in 2001 and searched it out on a trip back many years later. It's a beautiful spot, perfect for photos and filled with lovely vegetation.

There is no easy way to get here and when you do there is a sign that says you are on private property. It is owned by The Four Season Resort. My wife and I actually walked here from downtown Nassau about 2 miles No...More

It's a beautiful place for pictures. Gives me European vibes. Great spot for pictures. Locals use it for photo shoots and stuff.

This is a neat place to see a bit of Bahamian history. Unfortunately part of it is on private property and you can’t follow it all the way to the beach.

The Cloisters is not very easy to visit by car as there is very little parking except on the roadside. This 23th century Cloister garden transported from France 50 years or so provides a tranquil setting when not inundated by visitors. There is a lovely...More

Very nice reminder of the old world. Gardens and grounds are beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. Bring your camera, this is a great place for photos.

Once I located this little gem, it took about 15 minutes to walk through. There were imported sculptures from Rome. Also large statutes of FDR and David Livingston. Definitely worth the effort!

There are signs, yes. It is part of the resort across the street. But no, it was not a problem to walk up th steps & have a look around-- no other people were there!
