This is so sad. Last time we were there, we had so much fun shopping and visiting the people. This time the Bazaar is all but closed down. The hurricanes have decimated this area, there is hardly anything open now. The is damage to almost all of the stores. I'm not sure it will recover. Very sad.

This would be such a cool place to visit but it sure is run down. We where there 3yrs ago and this Feb and nothing has changed. I think the island should fix it up as it would be great for tourist to come and visit with bars and restaurants and shops. Time will tell I'm sure it would be... More

I don't recommend tourists visiting the International Bazaar as it is run down and seedy. There's very little there.

Husband and I visited during our anniversary cruise. Toured the perfume store and it was ok but not really interesting to us. We really felt like we wasted our time and should have went with another tour company that went directly to Port Lucaya.

I took the bus from Lighthouse Pointe for $1.50. That was the best part of the visiit. It was pretty much deserted. I was the only one there besides the 5 or so vendors so I felt very uncomfortable although the vendors were very friendly.

It is a pity that there is not much left of the Bazaar, although it has something international... a Chinese restaurant. The Chinese restaurant just on the left of the entrance (behind the International Bazaar sign), on the first floor, is just fantastic, we have been there a couple of times and everytime it was superb. But you don't really... More

This used to be a bustling area of local sales. Sadly, there's just a few local vendors there with many empty stores & buildings.

Do not waste any time going to this area. There were maybe 5 vendors, a liquor store and a perfume store. It's in a very seedy part of town. We felt very uncomfortable. Take a cab to Port Lucaya marketplace if you want to shop. It's vibrant and safe!

Okay I realize these markets are a source of major income for the residents, but OMG all of the shops and products are the same!!! There's no uniqueness in either of these markets. The only thing that was close to the bizaar that was worth a look, was the perfume factory.

This was another stop during our half day Freeport tour. This was affected by a hurricane I am not sure from which one Sandy (2014) Wilma (1994) which ever one no one came back to their business. My girlfriend and I went to a perfume factory and got a quick tour. It was interesting but our fellow tourists were waiting... More
