This is conveniently located close to many accommodations and is accessible via public transit, Taxi, or walking from close locations. Seems to have taken the business that was lost when the International Bazaar was devastated. Lots of shops and variety. Certainly the best shopping location on the Island

Great place to shop and eat. Many choices of different foods. Lots of shops duty free. Great entertainment in the marina area.

We went in one morning when it was overcast. Neat place to check out - typical touristy wares, some higher end stores, bars and restaurants.

This market place is a juxtaposition of pushy street vendors and upscale boutiques. It is quiet when there are no cruise ships in town, but very busy when there are several ships in the harbour. There are some local hand crafted goods but much of the stalls offer souvenirish overpriced goods. Spent some time looking at the jewellery shops, but... More

There are tons of options- from local arts to toursity t shirts, if you are looking to bring something home from the islands. You may want to have cash, as all places do not accept cards. There are lots of little shops and good places to eat. They have lots of bars near the marina, and even have live music... More

Very clean with many shops. Found several of the shops to be redundant. The food very good at tourist prices.

I just got back from Freeport, Bahamas this past weekend. They did not tell us, nor did I remember, that Freeport was hit by hurricanes 6 months or so ago. Everything was run down or boarded up. The restaurants/bars, the stores, the beaches, etc. you name it. You're better off not visiting this island and either go somewhere else in... More

Check out Daddy Browns Conch Shake. Located in the back of Marketplace near the Docks. Wonderful man with an even more wonderful life story. The food is like no other. Hand made fresh on the spot. CAN'T BEAT IT! #askforbigdaddybrown

This s the most happening place in entire Island. Most bars and clubs are nearby. Also there is a huge casino situated just opposite this place. And also has passenger terminal near by for boats. U get to taste the local culture. People are smiling and friendly. Lot of local drinks and food available here.

Went here at least once a day on the free shuttle from Taino Beach. It has good restaurants and the vendors aren't pushy. Nice variety of music, only thing missing is there wasn't any live music in the evenings in the square. Felt safe while we were there.
