For relaxation visit Man of War Cay

Small island that you travel on by renting a golf cart. The people are pleasant and friendly and you really get that island laid back feel.

While out on a charter snorkeling in the area, we stopped at Man-O-War Cay. Enjoyed the easy pace and friendly folks, even more low key than Hope Town. We explored the Albury boat building shop and the few quaint shops along the water. Stopping by Albury Sail Shop where they make wonderful bags of all kinds (I ended up with... More

We recently spent a week cruising in the Abacos and we really enjoyed our stay on Man-O-War. The marina was welcoming. The town was charming. The people were helpful and friendly. The Dock and Dine and Hibiscus are great places to eat. We'd definitely recommend a stay on this Cay.

Have been coming to MOW for 10 years now. Always rent a home on the water. This is my favorite place in the Caribbean. It is like stepping back in time. The people are wonderful, always so friendly and helpful! Grocery store has everything plus fresh baked goods. Love the Hibiscus cafe and Joe's Gift Shop. Sally's is my all... More

I love Man O War. It is the most ideal place in the Bahamas to simply relax. The place is quiet, the local residents are wonderful, respectful people. There are 2 restaurants on the island that are excellent. There is a market that pretty much has everything you would need during your stay. You can, however, go to the grocery... More

We docked at the marina and extended our stay, as we found this island to be extraordinarily inviting, clean and beautiful. We enjoyed several delicious lunches at the open-air marina restaurant. Exploring the island with a rented golf cart was fun and quite the adventure! There is so much to discover, at times it feels like exploring uncharted terrain. Great... More

If you need something repaired, this is a good stop. There are a couple good restaurants too. If you need exercise, walk the length of the island and you'll see some funky things along the way.

Dock and Dine is a fabulous place to eat on Man O War Cay in Abacus. Despite it being know forever as a dry island, things have changed and a cold Kalik with the spicy conch fritters is perfect before a fresh fish sandwich. The small shop behind the pool has a huge variety of teeshirts and souvenirs. Everyone makes... More

My favorite place to stay so far in the Abacos is Hope Town since there are a number of good restaurants there and a real nice ocean beach, but in Man 'O War it feels a like bit more of the authentic Bahamas, as opposed to being so heavily influenced by vacation homeowners. I really enjoy taking a day trip... More

Dock and Dine was one of the lunches we had in the Abacos, up there with On Da Beach. Had the conch burger and it was spot on. Wife had the Cove Conch burger which was more like a crab cake made with conch, was excellent. Table also had a conch pizza which was to die for. Great Harbour side... More
