Forfar Field Station is a rustic former dive resort nestled in a beachfront coconut grove on the east coast of Andros Island. Forfar Field Station is named after its founder and builder, Archie Forfar. Since its debut, Forfar has served as an educational and field studies resource to thousands of students that range from middle and high school level to graduate students and researchers.

Forfar Field Station was given credit as the real location (called Rockwood Field Station) in the recently released novel "Legend of Hornigold's Treasure". Anyone who has visited Forfar should read this novel. You'll love it!
