Among my travels, which is a lot, this is still the best beach I've been. Visited in May 2010. The only thing is you have to drive through the wild to get there.

Amazing views, cliffs, water, sand, caves. What else can you ask for. It is worth the bumpy road! A must do!

We were told two things before heading to Lighthouse Beach: 1 - The road is bad. 2 - Bring snacks. Both were major understatements. An SUV is an absolute must. I was expecting the road to be bad, but it was worse than I thought....More

Well worth the journey to get there. Road isn't really all that bad, just got to take it slow and easy. The beach, views and water are all incredible. Definitely the family's favorite beach.

If you can handle the challenging drive, this is an amazingly beautiful peninsula with incredible beaches, geologic features, and off shore snorkeling. There is something moving about standing the the southern most tip of Eleuthera and looking across the ocean. Bring provisions and enjoy!
