The best walk/hike in the neighborhood! Difficulty: moderate A hidden treasure path with stepping stones and light climbing. The total path took us an hour as untrained tourists.

We stayed here over night and enjoyed the many different walking tours you can do. Loved the solitude and atmosphere.

I have not visited before but took the opportunity to go for a walk here earlier this week. Simply superb! Great views, tranquil snd calming. Why have I not been before?

Climbed here several years ago. You need good sturdy shoes, but it is well worth it. We sat on the rocks halfway up and had a picnic! A good day out.

A very cool and accessible hike. We didn't know this was a thing to do in the Deeside area but due to being snowed in the area and not super into skiing - this was a lovely alternative "find." It's a super short hike from...More

It’s a place I visit nearly every time I’m in the area. I find it magical, no matter what the weather. Nice easy walking with a suprise at the end. Mesmerising. I love it, as do my grandchildren.

Well worth a visit. The VAT itself is very close to the car park. 10 minutes walk or less. If you head away from the carpark on the walk it is signposted "Spur walk to the Vat" or something. When you come to the bridge...More
