The waterfall and paths that curves around it are just brilliant. What a nice afternoon. I would advise a good pair of shoes especially around the waterfall because the paths can get a wee bit muddy. The duck pond also had a wee cafe next to it, which looked really nice.

A very brisk walk before rain stopped play in one of Glasgow's lesser Known Parks. The main attraction is the huge pond which is nice to walk around viewing its many reflections. In better times there is the boathouse cafe sadly reduced today to take away trade only. A short distance away is an interesting tumbling waterfall, close to a very picturesque rocky, wooded area. Today a bit wet and muddy but in spring a complete joy. Serviced from the city centre by the 38 bus Rouken Glen Park is definitely worth a visit.🤗

A beautiful park in the affluent area of Giffnock. We used spend many hours as a children and this is the first time I've been back since then. It's still a great park with lots of paved and woodlands walk. The boating is sadly no more, no thanks to health and safety. The trees and everything else looks amazing in the fading light of late summer. There's also three cafe/restaurant in the park including the one in the garden centre. So a great place to walk and earn a well deserved snack.

After being in Lockdown for 3 months in 2020, it was good to get out and about, and we decided to go to Rouken Glen Park with our two daughters (aged 3 and 6). Fantastic large park with plenty of space to keep social distancing, with a large play area, and plenty of land to walk around. We wandered up to the duck pond, and then walked back via the woodland walk, which was really nice and my two kids absolutely loved it. Not much in the way of benches and tables should you fancy a picnic, but there is some ice cream vans where you can get a coffee and a ice cream. Will almost certainly be back here again in future.
