Some of our group were not prepared the hike is not hard but the road and trail are uneven and rocky need good shoes with good sole to protect your feet. The view is so worth the hike best to do early to ovoid heat...More

Yes the road is a bit rocky but that adds to the adventure. And there is just a bit of a hike but the end result is more than worth it!! The Monument is a beautiful reminder of our rich history. The views are magnificent....More

Really nice views when you finally get to the monument. Rough road best walked or biked. Not a trip for someone not in decent physical shape.

A short hike up the path and the views you encounter at the top are absolutely breathtaking. I cannot say enough about the colors of the sea in Bahamas out-islands. Simply gorgeous!

We borrowed single gear bikes from our hotel and rode the difficult sandy double-track to this monument - called the Columbus Monument, but really it commemorates the native people who were harmed by Columbus. We were glad to see that it made history real!

There is a long, rough road to get back to this site. But we made it on bikes. To our surprise there was another crazy couple there on bikes too. Take water with you !
