Nice garden and friendly Mdm Tan, she is very knowledgeable with the plants she had in her garden, unfortunately government had given notice to take back the land, take note of the mosquitoes ~

Need to waze to get there because it is situated behind some apartments. The main entrance gave me the feel of a haunted mansion. Was greeted by Madam Tan and she gave us a personal tour around her huge garden. She started the garden 20+ years ago. Unfortunately, the land is earmark for development in the near future. So do... Basically this is private garden of Mrs. Tan. She knows some knowledge about the herbs or medicine plant. After talking to her, my parents bought a few plant from her. Some of it is for eye caring or control your high blood pressure. She is really good and friendly lady. If you like to grown herbs sure you love here.

Love the lush greenery there, and the fact that Mrs Tan knows her plants well. Bought home a bamboo young plant and a camellia, in which she had given her advice on what grows best in lowland climate (read : hot and humid unlike Cameron). Had a great time chatting about plants with her. My parents love the flower bearing... More

This attraction is a welcome change from all the crowded and commercialised gardens and farms in Cameron Highlands. Some reviewers have incorrectly described this as an abandoned garden. That is incorrect - this is a private garden where if you're lucky to meet the owner, you will get an enlightening talk that will thrill botanists. It's also refreshing to stroll... More

The Tans Camilla garden is an abandoned garden with a lot of flowering and non flowering plants without guidance or any kind of information, If like to walk in the nature you should visit this place but prepare your self for hiking

Found this private garden in Tripadvisor and easily found in Tanah Rata. Enjoyed admiring the different flowers/plants and the peaceful morning walk with my family. Recommended for the nature lovers, you'll find this is quite a gem amongst the highly commercialized 'gardens' in Cameron.

Tan's Camellia Garden is tucked away from view and easily missed if it wasn't for the signboard along the main road. To get there from Tanah Rata town, head in the direction of Ringlet and upon exiting Tanah Rata town, you will see a an apartment block on the right. Turn off to the main road to the right and...
