excellent walking and biking trails down both sides of the river provide a sanctuary from the city.the trails stretch for miles and are excellently landscaped and feature numerous function art and sculpture installations.this alone is a good reason to live in quebec city

An excellent opportunity to go walk in any season. Explore the nature first hand, listen ,and hear the many birds and animals that live in this Park.Be active , get yourself healthy regardless if you are solo or with people or your favourite pet ,enjoy the nature and without spending a cent

My boyfriend who is a local took me for a beautiful walk alongside the Saint Charles river and Kabirkouba falls edge. It winds around are wooded paths and some stairs that are pretty steep so do be prepared. Beautiful views of the falls and waterway.

It is a very long trail, starts at the Huron site and continues until the Old Port of Quebec. At the entrance part is a waterfall, a pretty quiet one. Along the trail, you can see the rocks of the mountains like they are lying on their side and are staring to the walker. A lot of green, the sound... More

We managed only 10km of this trail because we were passing through on our way to a large national park, however that short walk gave us an idea of how good this long-distance path would be. Would love to do it from end to end one day.
