Nice heritage. Quite place to relax have a picnic or out with family and friends. Cool to see what they had to endure long time ago to protect the island. A must see when on St. Eustatius.

Not really a fort but more of a lookout station in a remote part of Statia. One can clearly understand why is was placed here a few hundred years ago. No accommodations at all but none needed to enjoy a fantastic view in solitude.

Fort de Windt is not the fort in town but on the west side of the island and offers nice views of St Kitts and Nevis.
