Its about a 45 minute drive from Downtown Ensenada to La Bufadora. Once you get there, you will encounter tons of little outdoor shops. They sell EVERYTHING from food, beer, wine, candy, toys, clothes etc. These people will try to hustle you so beware and...More

We were very disappointed by La Bufadora in every way. Here's why: 1. It's about an hour drive from downtown Ensenada with not much else to visit around. 2. La Bufadora (meaning blow hole) was not "blowing" when we were there, so I assume it...More

We visited on a quiet day, so the bufadora itself was not very spectacular. But is was nice to see it. And we had a lovely snack at one of the restaurants

An amazing overlook of Pacific Ocean and cliffs, crashing waves and spray. Built on the cliff with a magnificent view of the turbulent water as it hits the craggy rocks. Tour buses abound so there are Mexican trinket shops to explore and a variety of...More

We had a great time here. The blow hole was a really neat sight. The fish tacos at the end of the street were amazing!!! Lots of vendors with goodies to sell ( pushy vendors) but worth it none the less. Would definitely recommend!

If you arrive at low tide the bufadora is disappointing. The short walk from the parking to the viewing area is mostly lined with harrassing shopowners/sales people with the same old pitch for their trinkets. You should time your visit when the tide is high.

The view is amazing, the shops along your walk from parking to the blow hole are quaint and accommodating. The food, whether it is local and inexpensive, or mid-priced is good. I avoid the chain type food shops and prefer the local food. The walk...More

I might be a bit biased because I love just about anything involving the ocean. I really loved standing and watching the water below start forming and then hearing a low rumbling sound leading up to a gigantic eruption of water. You are able to...More

I agree, I wouldn't spend too much time, as far as the shopping, you'll get better pricing if you haggle in downtown and that seems to be safer and much much better places to eat, go to la guerrerense cart for lunch or... More
