If you surf, there are no waves. Beautiful white sand shallow cove. Mangroves at the top of the cove. Natural tunnels in the rock structure. Palapas open to the public.

Rustic and no facilities. But so fantastic. Sheltered from wind. Shallow crystal clear water. Shells for kids. Snorkel for adults. Palapa for shade. A view I will not soon forget!

Balandra Beach is beautiful and remote, but it was very crowded on a Saturday afternoon. There is a fairly big expanse of sand along very shallow water, so it would be great for families with small children. There are several palapa-style umbrellas, but I imagine...More

Awesome place to visit. Went at low tide, when you can walk for at least 300-400 feet and the water is just waist deep. Great place to take kids and specially those who love to see crabs and fish. The sunset from the hilltop is...More

You need a car or take a tour, but this place is gorgeous. There are no services - bring your own water and snacks. Good place to let the kids go in the water because it is so shallow

A must, jus be careful to take all your beach gear and food/water if you are planning to stay the day. It is a virgin beach area.

Good, clean beach that stretches for ever surrounding a huge lagoon-like area of shallow sea. Excellent for relaxing or paddle-boarding

A large perfect beach in a protected cove. About 20 palapas lined up on the beach (no charge). Very shallow water but we were able to use a kayak. OK snorkeling around the rocks on the other side of the cove. A bit cool in...More

Nice virgin beach. It's like a giant pool, not deep at all. Calm water. I think it could have some ecofriendly infrastructure, it´s the only thing missing to have an excellente place

Hi, it depends where you want to stay. I believe there were a few smaller places on the way to this beach. But you might be better off staying at one of the many hotels along the malecon in La Paz.

We had our own car. We drove from LA to Baja. Sounds like getting a ride would be a good idea.

I do recall seeing some people sleeping on that beach. It would be a great idea.
