A pleasant version of the classic malecon, lively (but not too) in the evenings, with the paseo and the auto cruising, cafes and restaurants nearby/above, and great sunset emanations from Isla del Carmen in the distance.

The 2 nights we stayed in Loreto we walked the Malecon in the evening after dinner and it was so relaxing and easy. You see many families and couples walking the Malecon in the evening.

A clean, attractive place to walk, sit, admire the Sea of Cortez, the sunrise, watch crabs along the rocks. Directly across from many restaurants and hotels.

Good anytime of the day to see the fishermen in action and view yhe black sand beaches. Catches the breeze so is nice after the heat of the mall.

Enjoyable place to stroll or add some extra step count onto your pedometer. Watch for Rooster fish or whites in the distance. Plenty of eateries across the street.

Yes, at either end of the malecon are wide long beaches. It can be very windy, or very calm. perfect for swimming.
