Clearest cleanest waters can be found throughout the Marine Park we saw osprey, cormorants, pelicans, blue heron, turkey vultures and magnificent friggit birds as well as great sea life including 20-30 different types of fish, anemones, multi colored starfish, eel. 2 snorkeling spots one on Danzante Island and one on Carmen. Enjoyed the trip itself out into the Sea of Cortez - snorkeling - lots of fish - beautiful water - rugged, rugged country. Saw dolphins aplenty and sea lions. However, our guide - Ramzis (sp?) was somewhat questionable. Too much balderdash.

Well, it's not called Jacques Cousteau's playground for no reason! Spectacular ocean wildlife and views, not to mention great snorkeling and protected inlets, etc.

I spent some time at the seals sculpture just watching the pelicans do coordinated dive bombs in the marina for fish. It is quite fun to watch. In addition, there are a small number of blue-footed boobies amongst the cormorants, sea gulls and pelicans standing on the rocky breakers. Be sure to look for the blue feet when you motor... More

Highly recommend the boat tours - we had a great time with Danzante Tours (captain Danny) and with Wild Loreto we got to see a sea lion colony!

My husband and I have been flying to Loreto for many, many years. What keeps bringing us back? Great food, awesome people and the breathtaking Sea of Cortez. J. Cousteau said, the Sea of Cortez is the world's aquarium. So true. We love to snorkel and the sea shares some of the most amazing things to see. If you come... More

the men in our group fished for 3 days and caught dorado and yellow fin tuna. The sea was calm and amazingly blue. We also spent an afternoon snorkeling and that was also fantastic!

Talk about catching fish by the buckets, yes that good. Don't go by the first price, always shop around, some tend to over charge when they see the opportunity.
