Great start to a Friday morning. No lines, no crowds. The staff was very helpful. The center is not very big and does not compare to what we have in California. However, I learned more about the history of Tijuana.

What with a historical component, art, science, aquarium, etc., this one location has a good cross section of the history and culture of Baja.

This is a must-see for any tourists in Tijuana. "La bola" as locals call it always has something to offer. The IMAX teather keeps it interesting and the art exhibits and library are very cool.

We strolled thru here before leaving to the airport. It had an event going on. But we did admire the nice modern art. Next time we will prepare to have a few hours to visit. Many nice places to visit in tiuana

I love this place. I visit it whenever I have a chance. It features an Imax theater as well as a performance theater and several rooms with art and other exhibits. This center houses "Museo de las Californias" (Californias Museum) The museum shows the history of both Californias; higher and lower. From the first inhabitants in the area to the... More

No one spoke English when you tried to use what little Spanish you know they stare and send you to another person who also doesn't have the time to help. Every person is too busy but willing to take your money

Im not one to say I enjoy art, but this had some cool history. The imax runs every hour. Inside the exposition they had nifty weapons and ships that was worth reading. Back home something of this value would be 20$. We paid less than 2$. Imax was about the same. Plan for atleast an hour in the gallery. I... More

I've come here from La Mesa, CA for several concerts, the most memorable of which was a concert by the winner of the International Mariachi Music competition! True Mariachi music isn't the small groups (generally thee or four players) that play in Mexican restaurants and bars. The winners that year were from Tijuana, and it was truly a professional performance.
