I took the bus to Playas Caleta Y Caletilla which is at the end of the bus line. It is a cute little beach area with many restaurants serving food and drinks. You can sit at the beach and enjoy a meal or a drink....More

This is a lovely calm and quiet beach mid-week, a very good beach for small children as there are only (usually) gentle waves. There are a number of beachfront restaurants but the best, by a long way, is La Cabaña. This beach should be avoided...More

Went snorkeling out of Caleta and had a great time. When we returned we went to a small beachfront restaurant, I can't remember the name but you can't miss it, for lunch. A friend had the fish fillet in mango sauce. On our trip home...More

I went out here on a day trip, and so glad I did. Take a glass-bottom boat (fondo cristal) ride out into the harbor, 85 pesos, (about $5USD). Lots of neat tropical fish, and people so nice. Rent a beach chair and relax, you're in...More

This is pretty well where the famous Acapulco all began and it is still very popular today! The locals flock to this beach, especially on the weekends and with good reasons. The water is calm, shallow and no big waves so it is great for...More

This beach is best early in the day, with calm waters and few people. As others have pointed out, during the busiest Mexican Holiday weeks, it, like all the other beaches in Acapulco become quite crowded. most other times of the year there are more...More

It is a public beach and during vacations or holidays you can't even move around. The beach is dirty and there are too many street vendors all over the place. If you are looking for peace and quiet, avoid this beach.
