We loved this site. They are about 50% through the excavation but the visitor's center was a beautiful, modern structure with fantastic historical discoveries beautifully displayed. It was really worth it to have Eduardo as our guide. His English is fantastic and he seemed to...More

I visited this park while birding with ornitholgist guide Cornelio Ramos Gabriel. The ruins are fascinating, and you can see dozens of HUGE iguanas, Northern Pootoo birds, as well as Boat-billed Herons and Ringed Kingfishers. Really worth the visit!!

Actually, the ruins is nothing special. But the wildlife is! During a one-hour daytime walk we have seen a lot of birds, lizards and four young armadillos! My wife was unable to resist touching two of them!

We booked with Parisio and would NOT recommend especially if you don't speak Spanish. Great place to visit.

We had such a great day checking this place out. As many have said, the ruins won't compare to others, but still pretty amazing to enjoy a day trip. The museum has some very cool artifacts. The paths are largely shaded for the most part,...More

I would contact the park to find out if they will be open on Jan. 1. Just send them an email. I am sure they have an email. As far as a taxi from the Huatulco ship terminal, it should only cost you like five dollars. It... More
