Very interesting Zapotec ruins and artifacts. The jaded skull found here was absolutely fascinating. I felt we got so much more out of this due to our guide as opposed to doing it on our own.

Interesting walk through the site---lots of walking---many park helpers to explain the temple and ball courts. About four sites in the park to see--then take path up to the high point and overlook the ocean

There has been a lot of excavation of this parc, but there looks to be so much more to come. Look forward to seeing the new reveals in the years to come.

There is a nice museum and small archeological ruins. There are also trails to an impressive view of the ocean and mouth of the river. This is a good way to spend a couple of hours learning about the local history..
