Mario was our guide, and hiring him was well worth the money. We have since been to other larger archeological sites in Oaxaca but we learned and appreciated far more with him.

This is a great two-hour activity involving hiking, archeology, botany and bird watching. Wonderful park site with newly discovered Aztec ruins. The cost is 40 pesos per person and a guide is about 500 pesos. It is worth every peso. Our guide Mario took us...More

This park was excellent for Bird Watching. A variety of species inhabit this little area and it was fascinating being there close to sunrise. One thing though there are tiny flies that bite and unless you have some hydro-cortisone with lidacaine, it could leave you...More

Very interesting Zapotec ruins and artifacts. The jaded skull found here was absolutely fascinating. I felt we got so much more out of this due to our guide as opposed to doing it on our own.

Great archeological park just minutes from the resorts near Copalita. 80pesos entrance fee is very reasonable. Had planned on muddling through all the spanish information signs on our own, but once we entered the park we were approached by a man offering his guiding services....More

Interesting walk through the site---lots of walking---many park helpers to explain the temple and ball courts. About four sites in the park to see--then take path up to the high point and overlook the ocean
