Lovely, swimmable beach that stretches for miles. Many places to sit under an umbrella, relax, eat, enjoy frias cervesa, & spend the day

Long crowded local beach used by the all-inclusive resorts just across the road. All beaches in Mexico are public. so weekends is it really crowded with the Mexican families enjoying the hot sand and sunshine.

We like this beach because it offers nice hard packed sand for walking, safe for swimming- easy to get in and out of the nice warm water. The vendors offer most everything you can imagine from jewellery, beach wear, baskets, fruit, candy, to horseback rides. We usually park outside a newish looking white hotel, near the overpass,go through their lobby... More

We walked from our hotel on the east bay to the peninsula then went north to the Blvd Miguel de la Madrid. Great walk! My wife took a lot of photos of the waves, kids playing, and the sunset. Mostly clean beach. Not that many people out.

This is a great place to bring the family for an easy walk and swimming in the ocean. Lots of places to rent chairs or grab a bite to eat.

It was a decent beach. Over crowded and bit dirty ... May be because it was a long holiday weekend..

If staying in Manzanillo, suggest find a nice VRBO rental walking onto this beach, more family friendly, nicer sand, beautiful bay views, tourist shopping, can rent beach chairs and an umbrella if coming for the day from the municipality, no hassles with sellers on the beach
