Considering we were here during Easter weekend, the highest number of tourists, the beaches were not overly crowded and clean. A few food vendors with great restaurants across the street.

I love Olas Altas beach. I don't swim here, but my dog does! Walking on the malecon is relaxing. This is a great place to see the sunset.

Playa Olas Altas is a great place for a walk. It is located in Centro. Lots of statues, a salt water pool, cliff divers and the continuation of one of the longest Malecons in the world.

Here's a great old part of Mazatlan, and definitely worth checking out. The beach is very clean and I watched a local lady picking up any rubbish she came across, definite pride in this area. It's easy to imagine the rich and famous walking around this established...More

We went here on a Tuesday around 4pm and stayed for a couple hours. We were not bothered by a single vendor, it seemed that around us were only locals. It was pretty quiet too, not a lot of people. There weren't any fishing boats...More
