Shopping, eating and walking in the excitement is quite entertaining. The restaurant choices range from Mexican to Italian with lots of in between. Whether it be for currency exchange, fine dining or gift merchants much is available in the gold zone!

We visited this place last week and were disappointed with how this place has declined. Much of the area is abandoned and boarded up. There is much garbage in the streets and it stinks.

Great shopping the down town area is clean and has many food choices. Streets are easy to walk down and you find many shops.

Lots to see and do. A real taste of Mazatlan. Great eating places, fun shopping and walking distance for many attractions. Taxi's are CLOSE by to offer you a ride. Loved the open taxis with the accommodating drivers. Prices is ALWAYS negotiable for a ride....More

Try as many restaurants as you can, the food is excellent and reasonable. Our Favorite was Carlos and Lucia (Mexican/Cuban) across from the OLD Holiday Inn.

Many places to eat; ask the locals and the tourists; some are hidden but very good. On the beach, there are food places for fun, romantic dining. Very peaceful. Ponchos

Golden zone has it all. You can eat in beach side restaurants, shop at Micheal Gallery or eat in any of several great restaurants.

The Golden Zone is a shopping area. I didn't see any RV Parks in Mazatlan, but I also wasn't looking for them. I don't know if they exist.
