Great place to visit when you're hungry!

Nice square surrounded by many restaurants. Topolo was my favorite (see other review). There are so many to choose from. A busy area frequented by tourists.

Wondefull all year but on Christmas time is outstanding. The feeling that one is in old Mexico where one can enjoy a cup of coffee or dine in one of the restaurants that surround the Plaza, is a wonderful experience. It´s very enjoyable to hear Americans or Canadian tourists or ex-pats lose their fear of a microphone to sing or... More

A must-visit if you are in Mazatlan. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas during our visit. Great area restaurants.

This square has a ton of old world charm! Cultural things during the day like native dances, street stores and live music at night! Romantic atmosphere, check out Paco Ey Lola for a medium priced place to eat, we got apps, dinner, and bottle of wine for $40. Casa 42 is AMAZING. Apps, soups, dinner, and Wine for $80, but... More

We enjoy taking the bus into old town for lunch in the Plaza Machado. There are many good restaurants in the plaza. Often there is music or some other kind of entertainment. Makes for a nice afternoon.

This is a very cute square and worth walking to if you are downtown. The restaurants that line the square are not highly rated, likely because of their prices. If you are there around lunchtime walk to Topolo or Angelina's.
