Generally Cerritos beach isn't very busy. At low tide you can walk for miles from one end to another with stops along the way for a Margarita. There are a couple of spots that have rocks near the south end that require a little climbing...More

The beach itself is nice and very large and flat, and an excellent place to spend an afternoon with friends and family. Not absurdly crowded like many other beaches in Mazatlan--highly recommend it!

Mazatlan is not the destination to visit if you are looking for a great beach. The PACIFIC ocean on this coast is cold, mostly rocky with LOTS of marine life. This part of Mexico has the worlds largest shrimp and abundant fishing which is great....More

I can't say enough about this beautiful beach. It seems you can walk for miles and still have further to walk.

We come down to visit our friends every year who live in a condo on the beach in Cerritos. Love to walk along it and watch for sand dollars. Beautiful packed sand!

Oh that beach is almost 20 miles away but there are lots of beautiful beaches in mazatllan that are very close to cruise ships just ask the taxi to take you to the playa
