We passed through here in the back of a golf cart type taxi. Lots of traffic and people we didn't get to stop too long but it looked like a beautiful beach.

Awesome but a tad far from hotel. A man jumps from rocks every day apparently but we missed it on the day we visited.

I would suggest to ride round trip the bus until the end of the line and come back. It is a nice ride and the end of the line has beautiful residential buildings and houses. It is different from downtown.

Nice views of the sea, a lot of local businesses in this place. Yo can just walk or get something to drink.

This is the longest Malecon that I have been on and the city of Mazatlan hes done a fantastic job of making it very accessible with many statues describing events, people and noteworthy items such as the cute little cabs they drive only in Mazatlan...More

We did not have time to walk along the water, but drove and it was truly beautiful. Next time will do the walk and enjoy.

I take a pulmonia to Valentino's and run to Fisherman's Monument and back. It's beautiful, I feel safe and comfortable. It's nice to see so many other travelers & locals enjoying such beautiful scenery.

Close walk to the market and famous church. Worth the time to spend here. There were also english speaking tour guides (volunteers) that helped us plan our day. Lots of fun!

Mazatlan is Extremely beautiful. Getting around on the local buses is the best way. They run frequently, and allow you the opportunity to see various sights. The old city and the Cathedral are a must see. Walking along the Malecon is amazing

Mazatlan's Malecon, we were told, is the world's longest. Unlike Puerto Vallarta where you can walk in a couple hours after stopping to view all the sculptures, in Mazatlan the 20 or so don't have a lot of interest in between them. Of course there...More

No, you cannot walk from the cruise ships. We stopped on a tour that included the Malecon booked onboard the ship.
This is probably a strange request but I was wondering what the walking distance (miles) is from the El Cid Castilla Hotel to the Malecon area by the Valentino Restaurant/Night Club.

qiute short, I would say about 7-8 blocks from EL Cid Granada, go in the morning, the breeze is nice, and stop at the Panama for a treat and coffee.
