The bus driver was great, the tour guide was fine. The bus was not. It seats 18 but only 10 seats are comfortable. When boarding, we tried to sit in the seat behind the driver, but were told that was 'reserved' for other guests. Hmmmph. Our friends sat in a seats that were too close to the seat in front... More

On our trip to Mazatlan be booked a Vista tour to Durango at one of the local hotels. It did not start out too well as the Tuesday morning that we were to be picked up at 06:40 AM the bus did not arrive. We headed to Vista's office in the Golden Zone and found out that the tour did... More

We got this tour free for attending a time share tour (thankfully) While everything started out ok, our guide Manuel, seemed friendly and knowledgeable , it quickly became obvious that this was a tour of places to free you of your well earned dollar. We went to the market and were guided to a stall to buy trinkets. A quick... More

City tour booked through our resort. This was a fun time. Started at 9am and the bus stopped at three resorts for pickups. Some people were booked on a tequila plant tour and the others for the city tour. So our first stop was at a local blue agave producer and then split into smaller groups. We got to sample... More

What a day! Our private tour started at the cruise port, took us all around Mazatlan and to cliff divers, then we walked the historic center including the fantastic market, church, opera house and gelato. Then had a fantastic seafood lunch on the beach (our additional cost) at a place our guide recommended (Tony's on the Beach, Golden Zone). The... More

Booked with Johann and Sandra at Mazatlan Tours but the private van was operated by Vista Tours. We were a half hour early yet Vista didn't show by a half hour after our appointment time. After a bit of panic (egged on a bit by other companies trying to get our business) we phoned Mazatlan Tours. They stayed on the... More

We tried to arrange a last minute tour to Copala and Concordia (villages in the Sierra MAdre mountains) but since the other people in the group had cancelled, we ended up getting a private tour. OUr driver/guide "Chile" was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable in a low-key, friendly way. We (two adults and two tweens) enjoyed the activities - making... More

Tour was ok. tour guide, Suzanna was good, until it came to purchasing some tequila. Bottles were wrapped, so couldn't see the labels. Suzanna told us she personally checked them to be sure it as what we ordered. Got home and she gave us the wrong tequila.

When in Mazatlan we try to do a few tours. This was my 4th time to El Quelite. It is a very cute and colorful town. The tour was on a van so the driver accommodated both those who wanted to walk and those who did not. The tour guide took us through the town where we visited a bakery.... More
