A unique experience to see aquatic life. First the boat is not big, bring a wind breaker, and make sure you use the bathroom before you leave. We were treated to the sights of dolphins up close to the boat as well as turtles. We also got to here the whales singing under the water, but the best part of... More

We booked 3 days with Onca in early January: Whale & Dolphin Watching; Mangrove Ride; and Bird Watching in the Sierra Madre. Could not have asked for a better time. We saw Sting Rays jumping out of the water, Dolphins, tons on Dolphins, and Whales, more than expected. The birds were unbelievable in the Mangrove. Ate fresh raw oysters that... More

A travelling partner was interested in a whale watching trip, so we went and I am SO GLAD that we did! What an excellent and unique adventure. I typically stay glued to the beach for my entire vacation, and this was definitely worthy of leaving the sand. The guides are very knowledgeable and lots of fun. They mix education with... More

We have been booking with onca for seven years and counting and it is always a top notch experience. Oskar the owner and his dedicated crew do everything to make your trip memorable. As marine biologists they educate as well as entertain guests. I can't say enough good things about this organization. Book with them you won't be disappointed.

Saw way more than expected. Our tour guide Jesus marine biologist was very well versed on marine life and species. Definitely worth booking if whales and dolphins are of interest to you.

We went on the whale watching tour. Our guide, Jesus, was wonderful. He is a marine biologist with a vast knowledge of the whales and other marine life. He explained and taught us throughout the four hour tour. We followed a male and female humpback whale for several miles. We will do this again!

Never in my life did I think I would get to experience the mighty humpback whale migrating through the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. We scheduled through our hotel and the company shuttle picked us up and brought us to the Marina. A group of 6 on a very comfortable and safe boat took... More

Definitely worth while if you're on vacation in the area! Oscar was our guide and he answered all of our questions while out looking for the humpbacks. He introduced us to information about an environment so unique and awe-inspiring. You never know what you'll see and when you'll see it when you're out in the natural world. It was the... More

We have been going out whale watching with Onca for several years and have never been disappointed. Each trip is different, yet exciting. Oscar and Saul have been tracking the whales'migration for about 10 years and know where to find them. This year we even heard a whale "singing." Saul let us listen to the hydrophone. We saw at least... More
