Our group of 7 had a super day at Las Caletas. Well worth the cost! Very organized, safe transfer with extroverted entertaining crew!! The snorkelling was fantastic! The kids club was full of adventure and wildlife. The photobook purchased was very professional and top quality photographs! The lunch provided was hot, tasty and plentiful. There are lots of staff available... More

We did this day trip with a group of friends. While this was one of the more expensive things to do, it was easily the best part of our trip! You take a 45 minute boat ride over to the beach. We stopped by a few rocky islands and they pointed out some interesting wild life. We also stopped and... More

We left the marina in a speed boat to the first beach. Here we did horse riding (my first time ever) and had some time to relax on the beach. We then visited a waterfall. The next beach we went too you had to exit the boat in the water which was time consuming as the waves were really strong... More

Can't say enough great things about Vallarta Adventures and their staff who are part of Las Caletas. Boat 6 from the Marina to Las Caletas was fantastic - - the crew was a lot of fun and helped us signed up for our day's adventures. Our kids (5.5 and 8.5 year old) LOVED the Kids Adventure Park Experience which is... More

If you are looking to find an up close ecology understanding of Banderas Bay and Las Marietas islands, forget the eco tour. But if you are up for a party hosted by talented locals, then sign up. The music is great. The staff is talented and fun and you WILL enjoy it. But buyer beware. If you want a more... More

We saw a few good reviews and took a chance..This was the best thing we did the entire cruise vacation! First rate and SUPER clean. We started with a boat ride to the island/beach, the crew made the 45min. trip fly by with entertainment and food. Then we were greeted with home made tortillas, Mexican coffee with Kahula & tacos... Las Caletas is pretty much sold as the best beach day trip - all the hotel people talk it up, etc. And it was nice, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't awesome. There are a couple of logistical problems with the day. First, there is no base for you to work out of - no locker room or place... More

The reason I am giving a 3/5 rating is because I feel as though Las Caletas is better for families with children rather than couples. My boyfriend and I are in our mid 20s and booked this tour with the idea of having a nice relaxing day at the beach. We were aware it was a family-friendly environment but had... More

A lot of people do not know this but Las Calatas does very affordable weddings. My new wife and I just had a amazing wedding there this past Saturday. Blanca was our wedding coordinator and she did a amazing job. Everything Blanca and Vallarta Adventures did far exceeded our expectations. It can be very hard convincing your family to go... More
