Me and my boyfriend booked Caletas getaway for Saturday morning. The boat arrived at the Marina at 7:30am. The crew was great! On the ride there (45min) they provide coffee, juice, fruits, and other snacks. Once you get to Caletas you can get some delicious...More

It has been over 35 years since my last dive and this one surpassed every other dive experience. Our dive instructor was terrific and helpful at every step of the way. We came away seeing pufferfish, bottlenose fish, 3 octopi, and a seahorse. My nephew's...More

We visited Las Caletas today and it was lovely. The grounds are so lush and tropical and spotless. Staff are amazing! Even though my son experienced sea sickness coming over and my poor daughter got stung by a jelly fish, we still enjoyed the day...More

My husband and I went here with our kids 17 years ago and wow has the place changed. Still one of my most favorite places on earth. The kids (now teenagers) paddle boarded, zip lined, and enjoyed the waterslide while this time my husband and...More

Starting around 7:30 AM while on vacation may not be the best thing to do... Getting on a boat for 30-45 minutes without having breakfast (breakfast was offered while on the boat-not very good, not enough food for everybody on board)... as day goes on...More

Went on the snorkeling excursion. The boat crews customer service was amongst the best I have ever experienced. Never have I experienced a team so attentive, fun and nice. Great guys. The day was fun and the crew made it totally relaxing.

For the price you can't get a better deal. Snorkeling and lunch come with the trip and open bar on the boat. Go to the beach that the founders of Puerto Vallarta are from.

Hello, I am looking to go on the excursion to Las Caletas in July. Is anyone aware of the mosquito situation during that time? Wondering because of the Zika virus. I would definitely be bringing bug spray, and most likely just hanging by/in the ocean, but would like to know how buggy it gets and if I should be at all concerned. Thanks!

Was there in May and had no problems with the bugs, I didn't pack bug spray either.

How do most people who have a wedding there get the guests to the boat location? If we have 75 guests and stay a few miles away I wonder if charter bus is a possibility and how much would it cost. Also is there ANY resort that is close enough for guests to walk to boat pick up location?
