Don't let the name "Downtown" fool you. A must go for goodness (food, culture, people, photo op, drinks, etc.). We ate here almost daily. Walking down the strip is nice with the ocean breeze but in the summer, the heat is deadly.

On Saturdays the had a Kermes at the plaza park ,which means food ,vendors and dancing music ,all locals and tourist dancing Salsa. the a show at los Arcos at the malecon,music and comedians.Public bathrooms available.

Yeah, agreeing with the others. It is a very nice social area, like a town center with shops , restaurants, a lil museum etc
