Is at the malecon, great. But this Caballito is only to take the photo. Not really more, But the malecon is great to walk, run or take relax time.

We did a walk down by the water and the history is just amazing. The tour guide spoke wonderful English and of course Spanish. He made sure to let us wonder around at each site and allow us to take pictures and take it all...More

We enjoyed our city tour with Alfernando. He shard a lot of information about the culture and city. So glass blowing shop, homemade candy and tequila tasting!

Large, cut out blocks spelling out "Puerto Vallarta" are now at the base of the caballito statue. I have not decided whether I like it or not. In any case Puerto Vallarta would not be the same without this particular statue!

This water statue is located right on the boardwalk by the stage. At night, there are multiple colored lights that alternate. Great place for photos.

It's a nice boardwalk with nice art well worth the visit . Beware of the time share people they are the only done side . Other than that it's actually a nice location just ignore the people trying to sell you stuff.

This seahorse is iconic in the malecon. You cannot leave Puerto Vallarta without snapping a quick pic, he're always ready for his close up. If you don't take a picture with the Caballito it's like you were never there.

There are many interesting statues and sculptures to see up and down the boardwalk area, but don't make eye contact or all the peddlers will hound you to buy all their wares.

If you visit downtown Vallarta, then you walk by the beach area. Wonderful strolling here and picture taking. A must for all tourists.
